Ingredients
Filling
1/4 kg lean ground pork1/4 kg large shrimp, shelled and finely chopped
1/4 cup minced onions
1/4 cup grated carrot
1/4 cup grated and squeezed singkamas
4 cloves minced garlic
1 sachet Magic Sarap (a packet of umami msg granule sold in the Philippines)
25 pcs molo wrapper
1 egg, slightly beaten for sealing
Broth
1 pc whole chicken breast with bone3 liters water
2 tbsp vegetable oil
1 head minced garlic
1 pc minced onion (medium size)
6 slices ham (cut into strips)
2 stalks celery, peeled and minced
6 saches MAgic Sarap (8 g)
1/4 cup chopped spring onions
2 heads of minced toasted garlic
Procedure
The wrap
- Combine all the ingredients of the filling in a bowl.
- Season with Magic Sarap.
- Wrap 1 tbsp of mixture into molo (wonton) wrap; seal edges with beaten egg.
The broth
- Place the chicken breast in a pot of water.
- Simmer for 30 minutes.
- Get the chicken and shred it.
- For the broth, saute garlic and onion for two minutes.
- Add ham, celery, shredded chicken.
- Pour chicken stock, simmer and season with Magic Sarap.
- Drop in the molo wrap and simmer for 5 minutes .
- Transfer into a serving bowl and garnish with spring onions and toasted garlic.
